It may fix origin error 9:0. In fact, when you encounter this problem, the origin desktop client also suggests you restart your PC.
2. Disable Antivirus/Firewall Temporarily
As your first step to fix origin error code 9:0, you should disable your third-party antivirus, firewall or any security programs temporarily. Some antivirus programs like Malwarebytes, Bitdefender can interrupt origin update or installation process. As a result, It may fail to install its update file. It ends up showing you that error. Step 1: End OriginWebHelperService Process
To be able to rename or delete the libeay32.dll from the origin directory, you must disable the origin web helper service from the background. To do it, follow these instructions.
- At first, Right-click on the taskbar and choose Task Manager.
- Now, From the task manager, find the service process called OriginWebHelperService.
- Right-click on it and choose End task.
Step 2: Rename libeay32.dll
After killing that process, I suggest you go to the origin directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin
