Decent Photo Manager
All popular iTunes alternatives have a photo manager. But, They are slow and not stable. But, iMazing is unique in this regard. The recent version has brought an excellent Photo manager that can handle your iPhone photos in real-time. Previously, It was only available on the Mac version. But, Recently, this decent photo manager has landed on the Windows version of iMazing.
Around the globe, half of the iPhone users use Windows and don’t have a mac. iMazing has brought a great opportunity for them to get an amazing Mac-like photo management experience with this feature.
Transfer Contents Between Devices
iMazing can transfer photos, videos, music, and other media contents between iPhone and Mac/PC. But, The main difference is it can do it wirelessly too. So, You won’t have to connect a lightning cable every time you need to transfer contents. It is hassle-free and saves time. It also has a feature called Quick transfer that lets you transfer media contents on your iPhone by drag and drop.
Perfectly Backup Your iPhone/iPad or iPod
If you need to backup your iPhone or iPad entirely, including all contents and data, iMazing can do it. Later, You can restore it when needed. The backup process can be done automatically according to your convenient schedule wirelessly. When your PC or Mac and the iOS device are under the same WiFi network, iMazing will automatically take your iOS device’s backup. It has a backup archiving option. It allows you to clean the backups older than a specific time period automatically. You can encrypt your backup using a password or leave them unencrypted if you wish.
Access Messages, Contacts, Calendar, Browsing History, etc:
Some popular iPhone managers can’t access your messages, browsing histories, bookmarks, etc. But, iMazing can do it. After backing up, you can view your messages, call stories, contacts, calendar, browsing histories, etc. The contacts can be exported in Excel, vCard, or CSV format. You can view text messages and use the search box to find a particular one. It can be useful in different situations.
It is a tiny feature that is available in very few iTunes alternatives. But, It can be beneficial. In your iPhone, Apple has already included a feature that allows you to know about your battery health. But, iMazing can show you more information about your battery. It includes the actual health percentage, temperature, max capacity, charge cycles, serial number, charger information, and many more. It helps to decide if you need to replace your iPhone battery.
Perfect App Manager
The iMazing has a feature that allows you to manage your iOS device apps directly from a computer. Unlike other iPhone managers, it can install apps directly from the app store. You also can manage your app store library and uninstall/install any apps on your device.
Manage Unlimited iOS Devices through WiFi
Generally, To manage iPhone, iPad, or iPods from PC or Mac, users need to connect a lightning cable to get full functionalities. But, After the first configuration, iMazing can manage your iOS devices wirelessly. Every time you open this app, it will automatically detect your devices wirelessly. Surprisingly, there is no device limit. So, If you have several iOS devices, you can manage them from one place. It means you can manage your backups, export or import photos or other contents, view battery information, manage apps wirelessly. It requires you to have your iPhone/iPad and PC/Mac in the same network. However, there are some other things you can do using iMazing. You will be happy to know that you can erase, update or re-install OS directly from this software. But, These sensitive operations require you to use a lightning cable and can’t be done wirelessly.
Extra Useful Features
iMazing has some other small features, which are also helpful in many situations. For example, Check the Warranty. It’s a feature that helps you to know about Apple’s warranty coverage. Else, Low battery notification, HEIC to JPG, Import Custom Ringtone, View/Export Whatsapp messages, console, logs, etc., are some other features you will find.
The UI of iMazing is straightforward. You won’t have to navigate between tabs to get your necessary options because You will get all of them on the home screen. When you connect your iPhone, it will show you the information about your device on the left side, and other options will be available on the right side, divided into 3 additional columns. Else, It will show your iPhone’s lock screen when it is locked and show you the home screen when it’s unlocked. Everything will happen live. Overall, It’s a good-looking UI and easy to navigate.
iMazing Performance and In-Depth Review:
I have used iMazing for a few days to get enough ideas about it. Overall, It worked very well. Especially, It has fulfilled most of my needs without any hassles. All of the features performed really well. After opening this iPhone manager first time on your PC, it will recommend you take a full backup of your phone. In fact, You should do it. Because it will give you access to your messages, call stories, and other restricted data. Due to Apple’s policy, you can’t view these data with third-party software directly.
Anyway, The backup process was very smooth and had no issue. You can configure a schedule and keep the WiFi option enabled. It will allow iMazing to automatically take your iOS device’s backup when your Phone and PC/Mac are in the same network. It also works very smoothly. The best thing is you won’t have to connect your device via USB every time you need to manage it. Only a few uncommon tasks will require you to connect it through a lightning cable. Another good thing is you can view your device console directly in the iMazing. It helps you to get important information that may help you to troubleshoot various problems.
The file transfer speed is good even when using the WiFi network. But, It may take a few extra seconds to view all photo thumbnails when you use it wirelessly. It depends on your wireless speed. Overall, The experience with iMazing is kinda fascinating. It’s probably the best experience with any similar programs I have used.
I have not found any significant downside except the pricing. The price of the iMazing licenses is a bit higher compared to some of its competitors. However, the yearly license has no time limit on how many iOS devices you can manage.
The price starts at $44.99 for a single PC/Mac for a lifetime. The original price may seem a bit higher. But, TechClassy audience can get it at $35.99, which is 20% less than the regular price. It can give you a smooth experience with some cool features that worth the price. It allows managing two of Apple’s iOS devices. However, To manage unlimited Apple devices, you will need a license that costs just 47.99 USD/Year. These are all discounted prices only for the TechClassy.COM audience. However, iMazing also has a trial version. So, you can try it before purchasing it. For your convenience, here is the full pricing table with iMazing’s discounted rate-
|Price||iOS Device Limit||Validity|
Note: The lifetime license includes minor updates. But, It doesn’t include a lifetime upgrade. For example, iMazing 1 to 2. But, Existing customers will get a big discount to upgrade to a new version. Also, the Lifetime license is restricted to the number of iOS devices, not to the number of PC or Mac. If you have used the maximum allowed number of iOS devices in the lifetime license, you must upgrade the license to manage your new iOS device.
In this iMazing review, I have tried to tell you about almost every feature of it. So, You have already got an idea about this iPhone manager. You can choose any software you want. But I definitely recommend the iMazing. It is a perfect third-party iPhone manager that can do its job perfectly. You can try its free trial, and if it impresses, you can purchase the full version. Also, If you have already been using it, you can give feedback in the comment box.
Way too expensive for a limited use app
Probably the best
I have tried a few tools to manage my iPhone backup and transfer data. All of them were good. But, iMazing is amazing. It comes with similar features. But, I have liked its wireless feature. I can manage the backup, transfer contents, and everything wirelessly. I don’t know about other functions. But, Managing my iPhone without internet through local WiFi is what I have liked most.
Excellent product, I have been using for more than 10 years – ever since it started as “Disk Aid”. But the current version is NOT GOOD. I tried to SELECTIVELY transfer some of my apps and data from my iPhone XS Max to my new 12 Pro Max. The app allows to transfer by clicking and selecting and then in the end you will find that it can only erase and transfer everything and it cannot transfer just the selected items only. You will see the old Home Screen also Ditto – which you don’t want. The developer should clearly state it cannot do selective Transfer instead of screwing up like this.
this app allowed me to create a new iTunes library by transferring my library from the phone when I accidentally deleted my entire library.
