Your diagnostic and evidence text stays in this browser
This release has no account, advertising, analytics, session replay, file upload, full-log ingestion, or server-side diagnostic/evidence submission.
Data handling
- Error text, command output, Event Viewer text/XML, and Windows Update/CBS excerpts are parsed in browser JavaScript.
- The tools fetch a public reviewed catalog; they do not send your textarea input to an API.
- Verification observations, parsed evidence summaries, and Evidence Packs are generated in the browser and leave it only when you deliberately copy or print them.
- No raw diagnostic text, evidence excerpt, local path, username, serial number, event-log file, or dump file is intentionally stored by the application.
- Hosting infrastructure may process standard request metadata for security and delivery; do not place private diagnostic or evidence text in the URL.
Local redaction
The local redactors can replace common email addresses, IPv4 addresses, username path segments, URL query strings, labeled device identifiers, Event Viewer computer/user fields, SIDs, and labeled report identifiers in generated summaries. Redaction is a best-effort aid. Review every summary manually before sending it to a public forum or third party.
Diagnostic and evidence boundary
TechClassy provides general, source-backed diagnostic organization and bounded evidence extraction. An Event ID, module filename, first/last error line, or repeated code is not a root-cause verdict. TechClassy does not provide a warranty, remote repair service, data recovery, account recovery, emergency support, or a guaranteed root-cause determination. Back up important data and use Microsoft, the hardware or software vendor, an employer's IT team, or a qualified professional when the evidence or action exceeds your experience.
Acceptable use
Do not use the tool to process data you are not permitted to access or share. Do not rely on it to bypass organizational policy, security controls, licensing, device management, or access restrictions.
